Its the ' Bernard Manning syndrome' He was ( arguably ) the funniest comedian on telly but, 1 or 2 people got offended and branded him a racist even though he chose 4 Black horses to pull his hearse

Mr Manning was a master ..a proper comedian who pulled no punches....saw him a few times....nearly broke my ribs I larfed for so long.

My favourite comedian. Still get jokes sent to me on a regular basis.

I went to his club years ago, the club was dark as he’s telling jokes, the front row was full of black women and after his jokes about the blacks he said “ all I can see on this front row are.rows of white teeth.. he was no racist.. the black folk loved him.
